I am about to write a note to the owner of this place asking if she will hire me for minimum wage so that the county keeps funding this place and I don’t have to move sometime in the next (less than) two months.
Chances are slim to none to this will work, but it’s my only idea.
I JUST moved here 3 months ago after having to move suddenly from the old place.
I’m not liking this instability as it reminds of growing up. My kitties will not like it either.
Three things that upset me most about this:
1: Not having a cook anymore. I’m too tired and lazy to cook actual meals, and processed foods make me sick.
2: I will have no necessities when I move. No bed, no dishes, no microwave, nothing. I’ll have a litterbox and some plastic tubs. And some trash bags.
3: Moving means there will be no chance that Percy will come home. This makes me saddest of all since I’ve secretly been hoping he might come back.
It is so hard to find a place in this town that allows pets, so I’m also stressing about that. Not to mention not having enough for a deposit.
In before offers to live with you: I’d rather live alone, but thanks for the offer.
So here’s to hoping this stupid letter works and she hires me. I see it as a win/win kinda thing. I hope she does as well.
